Beginings
Founded as a subsidiary of SINTEZIS Computer LTD Hungary, SINTEZIS BIROTICA is operating in Romania since 1992, when our company started the distribution of DTK Computer equipment, Epson printers, and made the first steps within the afferent services of these activities.
During 1994 - 1997 SINTEZIS BIROTICA obtained a very firm position on the Romanian market, becoming one of the largest distributor of DTK equipment and authorized Novell and Microsoft partner.
Changing direction
From 1998 we started a new strategic activity with the distribution of the OMRON-ANKER cash registers through a distribution network which included 96 partners all over Romania. In the second year of activity in the cash register business the company sold more than 12.000 units and started to develop a very good technical support and maintenance service.
In the same year we signed the agreement with IBM for the sale of POS products and started to develop the Romanian version for international retail software such as SA Supermarket and POS2000.
From 1999 we started to install complete, POS based, retail solutions in Romanian stores, international chainstores and other international companies. Since then, SINTEZIS BIROTICA has proven to be a successful POS Distributor and our relationship with IBM Romania continued to grow, giving us opportunities to distribute more of their international product range.

Historically known for our cash register product range, SINTEZIS BIROTICA has developed over the past years relationships with even more important vendors, enabling us to provide the Romanian market with a complete range of quality products in many different product areas.
